Number of Lesions Treatment
One or a few No specific treatment is required
Multiple (1) Vaccinia Immune Globulin (VIG): 0.6 mg/kg

Note: Except in Vaccinia Keratitis, where VIG is contraindicated

Especially if the lesions are confluent and cover large portions of the body.
