CDC Smallpox Vaccination Reactions

Created: Summer 2002
Software Used: Dreamweaver, Photoshop

I was hired by Logical Images, Inc. to create the Smallpox Vaccination Reactions web site for the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC). The CDC wanted a visual web site educating doctors to the reactions they should expect when administering the smallpox vaccination. I chose to design the site to have a similar look and feel as the CDC home site, but to improve upon the ease of navigation considering the amount of visual information.

There are two links below. The first is the actual CDC site in which another professional company was outsourced to code the site. The second is one that I coded myself. Notice that in my version of the site, the graphics are cleaner and better aligned, there are rollovers, and the site is harder to break apart by increasing type size.
